Evan Bayh Joins Blue Dogs Against the Public Option, Further Adding To Reid's Woes

According to Major Garrett on Twitter, here and here, Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN) joins Lieberman and Landrieu against Harry Reid's public option plan:

Dem Sen. Evan Bayh tells Fox he's uncommitted on Reid Public Option. "There are a variety of things that I think might work better"


More Bayh: If Public Option raises deficit: "I would have just a very hard time moving forward on something like that."

This is basically the same as both Lieberman and Landrieu said in my last post, but it's interesting that the number of Democrats coming out against the public option is growing rapidly.

Obama Gets Revenge on Fox News For Not Showing His Press Conference, Won't Call On Fox Reporter

Obama's ego is common knowledge at this point, but he allegedly resorted to revenge according to FNC's Major Garrett:



If this is true, it is unbelievable that Obama would blatantly slight a Fox reporter because of his own hurt feelings. While it has happened that individual reporters were ignored by Bush, but not a entire network.

Fox obviously made the correct choice as their ironically named "Lie to Me" beat out all of the other stations while they showed the Obama presser. However, they paid for it because the White House refused to call on them.

Is this a sign of things to come with Obama disdain for the more conservative media?

Unfortunately, it's most likely that it will be a long four years for Fox News.
