Quote of the Day-JFK

"We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people."-JFK

My Thoughts

Democrats have forgotten the truth in this quote. They are very afraid of conservatives ideas. Through the Fairness Doctrine, they want to silence conservatives on the radio. There is also talk of getting another "Fairness" type doctrine for internet bloggers.

They constantly mock and make fun of conservatives. To liberals, conservatives are stupid and aren't worth the effort it requires to debate and compromise on the issues.

They outright lie and bury their significant role in the current financial crisis. From Carter to Clinton to Franks: they had a huge hand in creating the mortgage crisis.

Obama still won't admit that he was wrong about the surge. He won't admit that Bush was right about some his foreign policy even though he has adopted many of his policies as his own.

The enviromentalists refuse to admit or acknowledge that they might be wrong about global warming. They blacklist scientists that dare to challenge the Goracle and his followers.

Liberals in Hollywood and the Mainstream Media show disrimination in their hiring practices against conservatives.

Are the Democrats afraid of its people? Why are they afraid of the truth? Could it be that being completely honest with the American people about the failure of their liberal/socialist ideas in the past would cause the voters to reject those ideas?

Democrats should listen to one of their great leaders. If they keep on this path of deception, they will wind up becoming the minority party again and stay there.
